Become a trained facilitator for Camp Lutherhoma. This training program will equip you to lead retreat groups through our Group Initiative Course (challenge course). Lutherhoma’s Group Initiative Course has a rich tradition of quality and safety, guiding groups to learn to trust each other, develop leadership skills, and be equipped with experiences in problem solving.

Help us prepare the facilities and campgrounds for summer camp. Work projects range from easy to more skilled. You can come as a family or as individuals. Stay in the summer cabins, bring your own bedding, and enjoy great food! You can come for all or part of the weekend, starting with Friday night. The first meal is Saturday breakfast, and the last meal is Sunday dinner.

Fall Force is a weekend retreat specifically designed for 8-12 year-old campers. During Fall Force the Camp Lutherhoma Staff hope that campers will...reconnect with friends and counselors they met at summer camp, create new relationships, grow in their faith as they study God’s Word. Fall Force is also a great way for campers to experience Camp Lutherhoma for the first time!
Parents and youth leaders are also welcome to attend. Adults will stay in Pine and Aspen Retreat Cabins, while campers and counselors will stay in the summer bunk cabins.

Attend the American Red Cross lifeguard training course at Camp Lutherhoma, then use your training anywhere! Learn important safety information along with necessary tools and techniques needed for caring for people in and around water. Camp will provide lodging in the summer cabins and meals during the training. Students must complete online class work before the in person course begins on May 17 at 9am.
$400 per person ($200 for hired Lutherhoma Summer Staff)
*Attending this class does not mean you will lifeguard at Camp Lutherhoma during the summer. Anyone 15 and older is welcome to take this training class.

JOY is the Oklahoma District LCMS Junior High Youth Gathering. This event is planned and led by Oklahoma DCEs, youth leaders, and Lutherhoma staff. JOY is hosted at Camp Lutherhoma. Junior High youth always enjoy this weekend retreat where they learn from the Bible and create memories with friends. Come with your church group for a fun weekend.
