New Tiered Pricing - Please Read Before Registering

We believe in the awesome value of Christian camping for everyone, and we strive to keep it affordable while still providing high-quality programming.

Tiered pricing allows families to choose the price that works best for them, and offers the opportunity to take an active role in supporting the true cost of the camp experience at Camp Lutherhoma.

  • Tier A $600- Prices reflect the TRUE COST of a week of camp.

  • Tier B $495- Prices are partially subsidized by donors.

  • Tier C $400- Prices are significantly subsidized by donors.

All campers receive the same high quality camp experience regardless of what Tier you select, and all families are free to choose the Tier that works best for them.  Your selection is completely confidential.

Congregational Support Information

Many of our campers receive financial support from their home congregation.  If you intend to have your congregation support your camper fees, please ask them how much they plan on contributing.  During the registration process you will be asked if your church is paying for part or all of your fees, and you will be asked what that amount will be.  We encourage all who are receiving congregational support to select either Tier A or Tier B.

Camperships (Financial Assistance)

Our hope is that no camper is denied the opportunity of a week at camp because of finances.  We are glad to offer financial assistance for campers through the Gayle Ross Memorial Campership Fund.  In order to be considered for campership funds all you have to do is contact us at lutherhoma@lutherhoma.com, talk to your Lutheran pastor, or fill out the campership form: Campership Fund Form. If you are seeking assistance, we will ask you to give what you can, at least the $50 deposit per camper. We trust that you will be honest with us about your needs. In thanks to those who support the Gayle Ross Memorial Campership Fund we are able to provide the funding requested by many who cannot financially afford to send their children to camp. Our prayer is that no one should be kept from coming to camp because of financial hardship.  Please consider making a donation to this fund so that we can reach as many families as possible with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Cabinmate Request

Each camper can request up to two cabin mates to stay in the same cabin.  The cabinmates must be the same sex, must be less than two years apart in age, and must register for the same program. We will do our best to honor your cabin mate requests. However, we have to consider staffing and cabin group size when assigning housing.

Packing List

Let’s make sure your camper has everything they need for their week of camp.  Refer to this Packing List as you prepare for your child’s week at camp. Some packing tips:

  • Campers will walk between their cabin and the bathhouse each morning and evening. Sending a small back pack can help when carrying toiletries, clothes, and towels.

  • A camp experience often includes getting dirty and sweaty.  Please send your child with play clothes and shoes that can get dirty as they hike and play at camp!

  • Encourage your child to help in the packing process.  Make sure he/she knows where everything is located in the luggage.

  • Label items when possible so they can be returned to their owner.

  • One of the last activities your child may do on Friday is swimming.  Sending a bag for wet items will help keep everything else dry as you travel home.
